Refund & Cancellation Policy

Clear, practical arrangements for appointment changes, weather delays, deposits, and service concerns.

Changing an appointment

To cancel or reschedule, email [email protected] or call (239) 321-2581 with your name, appointment date, and vessel details. Please give at least 48 hours’ notice when possible so we can adjust the schedule.

The 48-hour notice request is a scheduling courtesy, not an automatic cancellation fee. If your plans change at shorter notice, contact us as soon as possible and we will work with you on the available options.

Deposits and work not yet started

Deposits apply only when the amount and conditions were included in your accepted written quote. If you cancel before work starts, we refund the unused deposit. Any deduction is limited to actual, nonrecoverable project costs specifically disclosed and authorized in writing before they were incurred, where permitted by law.

We explain and itemize any proposed deduction. We do not automatically keep the whole deposit because an appointment was canceled or moved. If no deposit was paid, a cancellation does not by itself create a charge.

Weather and changes on our side

Marine detailing depends on safe access and suitable weather. If rain, wind, unsafe conditions, or product application requirements prevent the work, we will discuss rescheduling. There is no weather-related rescheduling penalty.

If we cancel before work starts and a replacement appointment does not suit you, you may cancel the booking and receive a refund of any deposit paid for the unperformed service. If work is already underway, we will explain what has been completed and agree on the next steps.

Canceling after work has started

Contact us promptly if you need to stop work. We will stop at a safe and practical point and provide an itemized account of authorized services already completed and any previously disclosed, authorized nonrecoverable project costs.

Any unused balance is refunded. Charges for partially completed work must relate to the accepted scope and work actually performed, subject to any applicable statutory cancellation rights.

Concerns after a service

If you are concerned about the completed work, contact us as soon as you notice the issue. Share your invoice or service date, a description of the concern, and photographs if available. Prompt notice helps us assess the vessel and identify a suitable solution; it does not remove your legal rights.

We review concerns against the agreed scope and the vessel’s documented condition. Where the work has fallen short, we will discuss reasonable corrective work or a partial or full refund, depending on the circumstances. Normal wear, later contamination, and pre-existing damage are considered as part of that review, rather than grounds for a blanket refusal.

How refunds are returned

We confirm the outcome and any refund amount with you in writing. Approved refunds are initiated promptly to the original payment method where available, or by another method agreed with you if the original method cannot be used. Your financial institution may require additional time to make the funds available.

For a refund status update, email [email protected] or call (239) 321-2581 and include the relevant invoice or appointment details.

Your statutory rights

This policy does not limit any cancellation, refund, or other rights provided by applicable law. Where a transaction is subject to a statutory cooling-off period, the required notice and cancellation instructions will be provided with the transaction, and those rights take priority over this policy.
